Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability
Rooted in Hong Kong for over 40 years, 7-Eleven has grown with the city. As part of the community, we’re committed to doing our part – finding practical, sustainable ways to support people and protect the environment, and living up to our corporate social responsibility.

In recent years, we’ve worked more closely with social enterprises and charities – including Pei Ho Counterparts and Foodlink Foundation – launching sustainability initiatives and promoting food-rescue efforts. Through these partnerships, we give back to the community and encourage everyday habits that care for the planet.

'Sik Tak Fan La!' Charity Program
Launched in 2022, Sik Tak Fan La! is our long-term support for Pei Ho Counterparts, the social enterprise founded by Chan Cheuk-ming (Ming Gor) in Sham Shui Po. The initiative provides free food and daily essentials for people in need – including the homeless – and brings the public together to create steady, reliable support for Pei Ho Counterparts’ work.

'Grounds to Green' Coffee Grounds Upcycling Program
In 2024, 7-Eleven launched Hong Kong’s first sustainable green circular initiative – the Grounds to Green Coffee Grounds Upcycling Program. Used 7CAFÉ coffee grounds are transformed into natural fertiliser at a local charitable farm to grow seasonal vegetables. These are donated to partner charities, and some are also used in selected own-brand products – opening up new possibilities for a simple, sustainable loop.

Food Rescue
7-Eleven has long supported food-rescue efforts. Since 2014, we have partnered with Foodlink Foundation to donate safe-to-eat surplus food on a regular basis – helping reduce food waste and hunger. In 2025, we also supported Ocean Recovery Alliance to develop an innovative kitchen-waste processing initiative – advancing more sustainable, long-term solutions for unavoidable food waste.

Over the years, 7-Eleven has actively organised and taken part in community initiatives. During the pandemic, we launched the Together We Care meal-voucher campaign and rallied support across sectors. In just eight days, more than 550,000 meal vouchers were raised to help grassroots families affected by the pandemic – putting our commitment to social responsibility into action.
